With the rapid development of wireless networks, the requirement of the Authentication System that used in the wireless networks is increasing. The common Web Authentication System do has the better ease of use but lack of stability. While, the Web System used in the hot standby system has better stability, but there is always half of the device to be idled. So it is an urgent to design an Authentication System which has a high reliability and high equipment utilization.Based on the Web authentication system, this thesis combines the usability of Web authentication system and the stability of hot standby system, describes the design and application of a multiple hot standby system with a high stability and high equipment utilization. This thesis includes the concept of common Web authentication system, the needs of the multiple hot standby system, the concept of multiple hot standby system, the design, implementation of hot standby making communication module, main and backup communication module, user data backup module, and the testing of the multiple hot standby system. The result shows that multiple hot standby system can communicate with the hot standby making module, communicate with each other, and process the user data, achieve its intended purpose.
