Design And Implementation Of Online Examination System

With the rapid development of computer network, people try to use network technology to achieve the paperless "online examination", which is a great reform because it will reduce the heavy test services and enhance the fairness and the impartiality of the examination. Therefore, more and more people are focusing their attention on the online examination system. The system has several superiorities to the tradional testing method:it is convenient for examinees to answer and examiners to question; it is also convenient for the performance management and users management as well; it shortens the peorid of all kinds of examinations; and meanwhile it realizes the departure of teaching and examing.Based on the analysis of the system's application requirements, the author works out a applicable online examination system. Employing the case diagram and the block diagram, the author analyses the designing frame of the system and then wokes out the student's and the teacher's test module repectively. In student's module, the author designs a set strategy, which can help students quickly extract test paper in a proper way and answer the questions at the given time, and then grade on computer. At last, the author sets a suitable application environment for the system. The experimental results show that both the feasibility and effectiveness of the online examination system have reached the design requirements.
