High Level Architecture (HLA) is a popular architecture for distributed interactive simulation. The general principle and mechanism of HLA is analyzed in this paper, among which, Data distribute management (DDM) is mainly studied. In order to improve elasticity and scalability, to degrade complexity in interaction, a new architecture of DDM in distributed network is put forward based on RETE pattern matching algorithm. The main work includes:(1) The matching principle and process of DDM is explained. (2) Based on distributed hash table, an algorithm for resource managing is given to balance the load on nodes. (3) A data matching algorithm based on RETE pattern matching is presented. The subscribers establish matching networks according to their interest, during the process, previous matching state is saved and utilized to avoid unnecessary matches. (4) The new DDM model is implemented. The result shows that the model reduces redundant data greatly compared with the traditional region-based data matching algorithms in centralized network. Moreover, the matching efficiency is further improved.
