Distributed Virtual Environment technology is a hot topic of research in Virtual Reality technology. The consistency is the basic requirement of Distributed Virtual Environment. But in Distributed Virtual Environment system which based on the High Level Architecture (HLA), the problem has not been solved well which hindered the scalability of Distributed Virtual Environment.For the application in the Distribute Virtual Missile Launching and Testing System which based on HLA, this dissertation design a universal structure of Federates which included three layers: network layer, interactive and application layers. The network layer is mainly responsible for data communications and Federation management; the application layer support for the simulation tasks; the interactive layer expansioned the functions of RTI, which is very important and realize the time consistency, space consistency and data transmission controlling.Time consistency solves the problem of distributed simulation system clock synchronization. First, this dissertation analysis some commonly methods of clock synchronization, then combination with the clock synchronization problem's characteristics of Distribute Virtual Missile Launching and Testing System, giving the Spontaneous clock synchronization method which based on interested domain. This method did not have a host, but it's very flexible, and it can dynamic reflect the interrelationship between the various nodes. Performance analysis and simulation results show that the strategy can effectively improve the performance of the system.To overcome space inconsistent caused by using the differences coordinates. This dissertation presents a mechanism to realize coordinates conversion, and discusses the necessity of coordinates transformation and transformation methods and so on. With Distribute Virtual Missile Launching and Testing System, researched the conversion relationship of coordinates and given the conversion formula.Combinating the three basic technologies data distributed management (DDM), data filtering and Dead Reckoning (DR), giving a new structure of data transmission controling and a new data filtering method which based on data classification. In the process of data sending and reception, we built the data transmission channels by the DDM services of RTI, and use data classification method to adaptive filter the data.
