With the development and maturity of 3G technology, the mobile terminal is developing rapidly moving in the direction of support high-speed, high-capacity data services. In addition to well-known mobile terminal, the data card has been gradually entering the 3G market as a new range of mobile devices. With its comprehensive features and price advantage, data card has attracted wide attention in the early stages of entering the market. In our country, TD-SCDMA technology, owns independent intellectual property rights, has received strong support from the government and many companies, becoming the focus of future research and development. The TD-SCDMA based data card will have broad market prospects.This paper is based on the project of TD-SCDMA data card development, systematically introduced the PC-side software design and implementation process. Including the design idea, thread design and the overall framework description of client software, as well as the design and implementation of the modules that I involved in. It has also introduced the basic principle of AutoRun program, designed and completed the entire work flow. Finally, we analysis the needs of the developers and users of the data card, developed a user-friendly one-key upgrade tool to simplify the operation of the market processes, reduce costs.
