Firstly, this paper summarizes the research on composition structure of various cable net antenna at home and abroad in recent years, with an emphasis on its surface accuracy. At the same time it introduces the analysis method of cable net structure. The finite element models are established using the Ansys Parametric Design Language APDL in ANSYS software, which contain astromesh antenna with diameter 7.6-meter and hoop-column antenna with diameter 5-meter. For astromesh antenna, this paper analyzes the form-finding of its simplified model and whole model without gravity respectively. For hoop-column antenna, this paper analyzes the form-finding with gravity and without gravity. The surface node root mean square is calculated when the antenna is in the equilibrium state according to the form-finding. The calculation results show that the surface accuracy meets the design need and prove that the analysis method of this article is reasonable.Secondly, the temperature data when the antenna is subjected to the solar radiation with one sun, half sun, quarter sun, zero sun are given in a literature. They are loaded on the corresponding nodes of the finite element model of two antenna to analyze the antenna deformation because of the heat influence. The node root mean square is also achieved. The simulation result is similar to the given result of the literature, which proves that the analysis process of this paper is right.Finally, this paper processes the heat analysis of the hoop truss antenna in orbit. The antenna model is established in using the I-DEAS at the first step. Then the whole temperature distributing pattern of the antenna is solved with the TMG module in different condition, containing antenna lying to 0 degree, 90 degree, 180 degree, 270 degree of the sloar radiation, when the sun is in vernal equinox, summer solstice, autumnal equinox, winter solstice respectively. The simulation result reveals that the whole temperature distributing of antenna is close to fact.The above calculation and simulation results provide essential theory foundation for further research of antenna, which are worth to be refered.
