There are still some interconnection and interoperability problems among the distributed information systems and the system integration of legacy system is an important means to build information integration. With the characteristics of autonomy, initiative, social etc, the agent technology is introduced to realize a flexible integration framework with support tools, which can dynamically adapt to the changing requirements. Among these, the agent wrapper model in system integration is one of key research.This paper focuses on the research and implementation of an agent wrapper model based on federation used in system integration. By studying the technique and methods of wrapper in the system integration, it presents the agent wrapper model oriented the field of the system integration. It gives the design and implementation of agent wrapper model. In the wrapper process of function agent, COM technology is used to form a unified interface which solves the heterogeneity problem of the system. The design strategy of service process is proposed in the wrapper process of service agent, which is based on the capabilities of function agent. The wrapper strategy constructs data flow models from relationships between the input and output of capabilities. At last, a method based on Petri net is proposed to verify the correctness of the service agent's service process.Finally, an experiment of federation-based agent system integration is conducted. The experiment's result not only proves the correctness of the agent wrapper model in system integration, but also proves feasible of the design strategy and the verification strategy of service process.
