It has been the hot research topic about how to realize the manipulation between the systems and sharing the resources in the open environment in the many fields in the recent years. With the development of Artificial Intelligent and Multi-Agent System, it is very common to use Agent, which provides services and functions for the out as the representative of many systems. So the heterogeneous Agent cooperation technology has very important effect on realizing the manipulation between the systems and sharing the resources. With the development of the Semantic Web and the ontology, the Process Ontology, as the semantic base and cooperation criterion of the heterogeneous Agent cooperation, can become the conceptual framework for the finding, inspecting and managing of the heterogeneous Agent cooperation in the open environment.Firstly, the dissertation introduces the research status and development trend about the Agent cooperation. It also analyses the ontology technology, especially the description logic and semantic web, and then introduces the conceptions of the Agent cooperation on the base of the process semantic which the OWL-S describes. It describes the conceptions, the relations, and the characteristic of the relations in the DLOP, and then presents the characteristic which a knowledge representation system based on DLOP has. Secondly, it brings forward the heterogeneous Agent cooperation reference model(HACM) based on the process ontology. The HACM takes the process ontology as its center and is divided into the storage layer, the semantic layer, the service layer and the application layer. The semantic layer provides the reasoning engine of the process ontology. The service layer provides the various services for the Agent cooperation. The service layer and the application layer compose the cooperation space. Finally, on the military application background of the Oil Logistics, an Agent Based Oil Logistics Guarantee system has been developed to test and validate the feasibility and superiority in the finding, setting, managing and inspecting of the heterogeneous Agent cooperation based on the process ontology, respectively from the many aspects such as the cooperation finding and setting, the cooperation running and inspectiong, the expectation controlling and disposing, and so on.
