Short-wave communication gains great progress although satellite communication and mobile communication developed rapidly today in the world and appeared many new stations,new equipments and new technology for its long distance communication,anti-destroy capability and low cost.Differential frequency hopping is a entirely new conception communication system based on digital signal process, including frequency hopping pattern,signal modulation,signal demodulation and so on. By applying differential frequency hopping technology in short-wave communication, wide frequency hopping bandwidth and fast frequency hopping will be realized, and the short-wave communication's data rate,anti-jamming capability and near-far resistance capability will be increased. This newly short-wave frequency hopping system will be one of trends in short-wave communication in the future.Short-wave differential frequency hopping station's total design functions and indexes are represented, focusing on controller's principle,modules,hardware structure and soft flow of main modules, including DSP unit,fast hopping unit,DDS unit,filter unit and so on. Main controller based on DSP and FPGA is designed and debugged.The conceptual have passed test and verify,prototype design and debug. Test result showed that the controller meet fast differential hopping station' request, had well performance, reached differential frequency hopping technology's qualification.
