Design And Realization Of School's Network And Safety Arrangement Based On WiMAX

With the advancement of the campus informationization from primary school to university, campus informationization which based on campus network have developed the communncation between teachers and students, improved the Efficiency of Teaching, scientific research, and management. The currently used in campus network is cable LAN and Wireless Fidelity(WiFi) wireless LAN technology. But, The high cost of wired LAN cabling and installation complexity, and can not be moved to use, are limiting the scope of use.WiFi is one of mature technology for the development of the campus wireless network nowadays, but WiFI can be used in only 300 meters, and easily be in a lot of security problems. The most popular wireless communication mechanism which includes the latest new technololy and network security technology is Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX).The paper studies a variety of WiMAX technology, including the technology from physical layer(PHY) to Media Access Control (MAC) layer and the various sub-layer security technology.The paper studies Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM).The paper puts the latest demand of a campus wireless network together,and gives the application design for the WiMAX wireless network on campus.At last, testing design on a campus and testing report are proposed.The testing and practical effect show that the design based on WiMAX can be deployed effectively to meet the needs of the campus network,and increase net capacity, performance, safety,flexibility and mobility relative to all other technology at the same time.It greatly promotes the degree of the campus informationization.According to the engineering design step, from the feasibility analysis, the demand analyzes to the network design and the actual deployment test, the paper has completed one WiMAX campus network construction in Zhuhai.And it confirmed the superiority of WiMAX wireless network in campus.The network based on WiMAX spreads freely, covers far.And the band width is big, the speed is high, the mobility is high. The WiMAX technology completely adapts the many kinds of scene demand and each kind of application request in campus network. The paper provides the theory and the test result for the campus wireless network structure.But the high price of depoter and the terminal base on WiMAX in the present make the the terminal number for test is not enough, But I believe, with the times go on, WiMAX technology will go further, and the WiMAX network equipment terminal expense will reduces rapidly.And then,the WiMAX technology may widely apply in each net construction of campus.
