This dissertation mainly researches the vivaldi slot antennas and array. Firstly, a study for wideband and low-loss balun is introduced. It presented the improved version of a wideband and microstrip-to-slotline balun with simple structuresSecond, the radiation characteristics of a wide slot antenna are improved by introducing the corrugated edges at the outer edges or substrate reduced. Another narrow slot antenna feed with microstrip-to-slotline balun previously is presented and impedance matching will improved by loading resistance.The last chapter in this article researches ultra-wideband infinite TSA arrays .According to the discuss, it can be seen the effect of the element of the infinite TSA arrays with different dimensions to the resistance and the radiation characteristics of the element according to the different length of the antenna. A microstrip-fed TSA element for the wideband and wide-scan array is developed. Finally, a dual-polarization ultra-wideband infinite TSA arrays is studied and analyze the effect of the different scan angle to the resistance.
