Traditional scanners can only obtain a single image,it has a monotonous processing function and it is difficult to handle redundant data later.In this paper,the project focus on building a multi-functional,well-performing scanner control system.It realizes the precise and stable control of the stepper motor to achieve the entire inspection process of the certificate,which includes obtaining the certificate image,processing the obtained image through the device,passing it to the upper computer,and then exiting the certificate.The design is divided into three directions,which includees hardware system design and software algorithms.(1)System hardware platform design.The architecture is designed based on FPGA-based control and DSP-based image processing.The former mainly includes the control of stepping motors,image acquisition and transmission.The later is mainly responsible for image processing.The topics are divided into modules for the selection of system components and the design of schematics.Based on the principle of signal integrity,the paper design PCB layout.(2)Hardware platform program development and debugging.The paper uses Verilog language to write the control sequence of CIS DL525,HT82V38 and stepper motor,and completed the code writing of DSP control algorithm and image processing algorithm in C language.The debugging results show that the hardware platform and software algorithm can achieve the functional requirements of each module of the system.(3)Develop document image processing algorithms based on the scanner background.Improving an automatic correction algorithm for ID images and The BP neural network is introduces to an information identification algorithm for ID numbers are designed,and the recognition rate is 97.5%.With the rapid development of electronic information technology,we are striding forward from the simple information era to the more advanced intelligent era.In this article,I independently designed hardware platform schematics,PCBs,and hardware programs.The algorithm for image processing is designed to be used in the scanner field.Loading different algorithms through DSP makes the design have a longer lifespan and wider application in the rapid upgrading of electronics.
