Active phased array airborne radar has a strong detection capability of multi-function and multi-target, is good in anti-jamming performance, which result in stealth and anti-stealth capabilities. So it is the development direction of airborne fire control radar. This paper focuses on phased array fire control radar system modeling and simulation.First, the design plan of phased array airborne fire control radar system simulation is introduced, which gives the system simulation process based on ADS software platform. Moreover, since the whole system is divided into three parts, including APG77 radar system, jammer and electromagnetic environment, so the interface of the simulation software is illuminated. Then, the phased array fire control radar system model library is established, including environmental echo model which consists of a signal source model, an echo signal model and a clutter model, antenna model, jam identification and anti-jam model, signal processing model, data processing model and beam control model. Finally, according to the model library, radar system is built. Also the system is simulated and analyzed respectively in TAS, STT and MTT modes. Thus, modeling and simulation of phased array airborne fire control radar system is completed.The models established in this paper are hierarchy models, which are convenient to transplant and modify. They perfect the radar system software library, and provide good foundation for simulation and application of radar system.
