This paper studies passive location and tracking technology based on'two transmitters and one receiver'passive radar with commercial FM radio broadcasting stations as external illuminators, and presents a quasi-realtime implementation method for passive location and tracking of aerial targets based on PC closed-loop system. With passive coherent detection technology, the time of arrival (TOA) information of signals radiated from external illuminators over targets to receiving stations can be acquired. And the actual position of targets can be evaluated furthermore with the TOA information measured from two stations. This paper firstly discusses passive radar location method with summation of distance information, and introduces a quasi-realtime processing system based on PC closed-loop configuration. Then several key techniques of signal processing module and data processing module in the quasi-realtime system are analyzed in detail, combining with the demand for realtime performance, and the processing method fit for the quasi-realtime system are given. In the end, large numbers of measured data recorded continuously are processed quasi-realtime with PC closed-loop processing system, the the processed results corresponding are given.
