The Design And Implementation Of Foreign Students Management System For Shandong Vocational College Of Science And Technology

The education of overseas students is the high level of Chinese higher education, as to the Oversea students management system, it is the premise and foundation of cultivating high lever talents. Generally speaking, at present time, the information management level of overseas students in the majority of colleges of China is not very satisfactory. Some of them are still bounded to paper as the medium, and this kind of management cannot keep pace with the times as substantial labour and material resources are wasted. In order to be relieved of the traditional management of enrolling students so as to increase the efficiency and reduce the busy work of the staff as well as the rate of making mistakes to accomplish the enrolling work smoothly, the traditional management must be abandoned and replaced by computer based information management system. If computers are to be used, the former human based management of overseas students' information can be changed and good school-raising image and high efficiency can come into being.This paper comes up with an available solution of overseas student's management system based on JAVA development platform through the analysis of that of Shandong Technology Vocational College. This paper gives an analysis of the meaning of development of overseas student's management system, a brief introduction of that of China, and a study of feasibility for the problems existing in the system. During the development, the author carried it out in accordance with UML form, and analyses the demand with a thought of object-oriented analysis and design. The analysis uses the description of illustration and use case specification to express the main demand of the management of Shandong Technology Vocational College. Architecture design use deployment chart to express the systematic deployment structure, and detailed design adopted relation class diagram to express static striation of the system, and phrase diagram for dynamic structure to give an object-oriented design to all functions. The separation of data and view are realized through JAVA tech to make the system a system with high expansibility and maintainability.The development of the system is of great importance as it has the entire process of the maintenance of overseas students'basic information and the management of enrolling plan come true, including entrance, information, teaching, life and social work management. Practice has proved that the system in this paper can meet the demand of Shandong Technology Vocational College. This paper aims to the key points, design idea, difficulties and solutions of the system.This paper provides a fast and standardized management process for office workers from Shandong Technology Vocational College. The appliance of the system make the overseas students business more convenient and the thought clear, give feedbacks to the overseas students information system, raise the efficiency of business and reduce the waste of labor, material resources and paper.
