The WLAN Resolution Based On Android Platform

The emergence and development of Internet technology greatly changed people's way of life and made information sharing become the basis of modern life. This also encouraged people to put forward higher requirements including convenience and speed on networking technology. With the development of mobile communication technology, the convenience of the network has been preliminary promoted. Especially with the development and industrialization of 3G technologies, mobile phone becomes the carrier of network technology applications anytime and anywhere. As Internet and mobile communication technology developes, WLAN technology also develops rapidly. Consequently, the combination of WLAN and mobile communication network becomes the most potential development direction and powerful way for telecom operators to expand the value-added service.Combining with the actual development process, this paper makes a thorough research on WLAN technology, and gives detailed introduction about it's development process based on the Android platform. Finally in this paper, specific implementations on WLAN services of the domestic carriers have been studied and implemented initially. The main contents include:1) Introductions about the evolution process of WLAN technology and standards as well as the current WLAN status, and detailed descriptions on WLAN security mechanisms and domestic WAPI protocols.2) Study of the software architecture and design ideas of the most popular mobile operating system--Android platform, and actual establishment of an Android platform development environment system based on Linux redhat3) Implement of WLAN features based on Android 1.5 versions, and detailed introduction about the development process which include the overall program, programs about hardware designment, driver designment, application designment, WLAN-related test and designment, as well as the examples and analysis for the designment of critical code and log output.4) In-depth analyis of technical requirements proposed by China Telecom and China Mobile operators, combined with their technical requirements on WLAN integration program, and initial ideas about designment and implementation.Through this paper, engineers can grasp specific implement method of WALN based on Android platform. Besides above, this paper also provides enterprises an implementations project of WLAN based on Android platform, and introduces achievement analysis and project of the WLAN technology integration with domestic operations. This will lay a foundation for the enterprise to provide WLAN products.
