Study On The Editorial Standardization Of Sci-tech Books

For the current widespread phenomenon of editors'misconduct and low quality of publications in the publishing industry, as an important method to ensure the normal order of editing activities and enhance the communication effects of editorial work achievements, editorial standards should be strongly emphasized. Nowadays,in the situation of inadequate editorial standardization's research, academia should re-emphasis on the study of the editorial standardization in order to obtain more and greater achievements which effectively guide practice.This paper's research object is the editorial standardization of sci-tech books, using related knowledge and theory of editing &publishing science. After sorting out and defining the related basic concepts of sci-tech books and editorial standards, the paper summarize the basic requirements of sci-tech books'editorial standards, starting with the level of publications. From the level of scientific and technical publishers, the paper continues to analyze that scientific and technical publishers take steps to realize editorial standardization, with some typical cases. Then the author deliberate that the relevant administrative departments of government adopt measures to promote the sci-tech editorial standardization. Last the development and innovation of the sci-tech editorial standardization is briefly discussed under the new publishing environment.Through this paper, the author hope to deepen the theoretical study on the editorial standardization of sci-tech books and make clear the standardized requirements of sci-tech books , in order to provide the theoretical basis and references to scientific and technical publishers implementing the editorial standards and related administrative departments promoting the editorial standardization.But the greatest significance of this paper is to arouse the academia's high attention to the study on editorial standardization.
