Nowadays, there are more and more researches and applications about camera shot planning technology. In the paper, we design and implement a knowledge-based intelligent shot planning system and its application on roaming three-dimensional virtual scene automatically.In the paper, we introduce the shot's knowledge representation, knowledge acquisition and knowledge application in turn.Firstly, we design two ways of shot's knowledge representation, one way called the director way is viewed from the director, the other called the photographer way is viewed from the photographer. Then, get the properties of the shots which are represented in the upper two ways. Now, we construct a shot library by adding these shots to it. With the case-based-reasoning, the intelligent shot planning system is realized. Finally, we introduce the application of the shot planning system. We apply it on roaming three-dimensional virtual scene automatically. Also, we introduce one smooth transition technology in order to roaming smoothly between shots.The system contains a shot library. Therefore, when we need shot, it is convenient to get proper shot from library instead of operating and controlling camera shot by user. We believe that the shot planning system will be widely applied because of its high intelligence, real-time, re-usability and simpleness to operate. |
