In this paper the author designed a reusable test case library which can resolve the problem caused by the test engineer who is lack of experience and skill or the enterprise which is lack of resource. The test case library collects thousands of test cases from many fields, through it the test engineer can get the test case that he want in a minute. One of the questions which we faced is that how to insure the reusability of test case in the library. This paper is conducted to figure out the question.Until now, the research about the metric of test case reusability is very scarce. In this paper the author proposed an Analytic Hierarchy Process model which is easily analyzable. The model was transformed from the test case reusability evaluation model which contains four identities such as functionality, usability, maintainability, portability. We defined some methods to measure the value of the four identities. After figure out the weight of every identity, attribute, sub-attribute, we can finally calculate the reusability degree.This paper is based on the test case sharing-based service platform which is the sub-topics of the national 863 project "for the multi-sector IT resource library system construction and application". We applied the test case reusability evaluation model in the platform, and analyzed the results.
