With the continuous improvement of people's living standard, consumers on car performance requirements have become more sophisticated, digital voice systems are increasingly being used in cars, to meet consumer demand for automotive comfort, safety and entertainment some of the requirements. Nowadays, the implementation of digital audio processing is mainly focused on the development of platform using DSP or ASIC as the core.There are several disadvantages: the ability of concurrent processing is weak, the system can not get update and on line configuration easily and etc. On the other hand, the design of recent solution is mainly on process chip, but there is less attention of audio codes chip. Furthermore, the whole design approach from chip level to PCB level has not been mentioned yet. According to the problems above, on-board digital audio processing platform was studied.First proposed FPGA-based car audio processing platform, the program is different from the existing-based MCU, DSP, and other programs dedicated ASIC chip, FPGA-based car demonstration audio processing system architecture and design of work processes, and embedding audio processing system dedicated to the study. Second, the idea of making silicon layer to a complete layer PCB board design ideas and design ideas a reality. Complete FPGA design and implementation process, including: overall system analysis, design process analysis, configuration module and data communication module RTL implementation, etc.; solve the FPGA with the car audio codec chip, the interface between the TLV320AIC23B-Q1 does not match the problem; to the out the configuration and functions of data communication module block diagram; from various angles improve the PCB board design, given the various system components detailed design programs and hardware circuit diagram. Finally set up experiments and analysis of the environment, the completion of various experimental and analytical works, mainly including: PCB board signal integrity analysis and optimization, FPGA system, the various functional modules of the experiment and analysis. Experimental and analytical results demonstrate the rationality of the system design and practicality. This study and implementation of work through the experiments and analysis has been verified. The results show that the proposed by the FPGA and car audio codec TLV320AIC23B-Q1 composed of digital car audio processing system can realize the digital audio signal processing, which can be FPGA in digital signal processing to give full play the advantages of in-vehicle audio signal processing.
