Coded structured light method is the main development direction of non-contact three-dimensional measurement, among them, time-coding method has an advantage of high accuracy, space-coding method has an advantage of high measurement speed, and color-coding method has an advantage of large information. This paper presents a color edge coded method combined all of the advantage of these three methods, aiming at obtaining measurement accuracy, speed and sampling density. Base on these features, this paper goes a step further to use this method to measure and evaluate the turbine blade type line.Above all, this paper designs a color edge method which has two projected patterns, binding the characteristic of both space-coding and time-coding method, Most of traditional methods of color-coded structured light coding focus on stripes themselves, it confined by the fact that adjacent stripes can not be repeated, so more colors should be included to obtain more stripes, which may cause problem of color confusion and decoding difficulty. Therefore, this method encodes the edge of color stripe, the number of stripes in the encoding patterns compositing of three color increased triple.In the next place, the accuracy of detection of color edge will directly affect the accuracy of color edge encoding structure light. This paper does a research on a method of detecting RGB intersection of gray component sub-pixel stripe edge. Besides, in order to increase sample density, this method encodes the center of stripe and does a research on detection of center of sub-pixel gray stripe. from the foregoing, simulation and experiment was conducted, and the results were analyzed.At last, in view of the disadvantage of slow speed of three-coordinate measuring, this method is used in measuring of turbine blade instead of it. This research including measuring blade after painting developer, evaluating enveloping line theory, drawing standard enveloping line, extracting profile of measured blade of data.
