Advanced Orbiting Systems (AOS) is developed by Consultive Committee for Space Data System (CCSDS) in its development of Conventional Orbiting Systems(COS), and its purpose is to meet the new requirement of variety of space missions to the data processing and transmission. After AOS standard was widely used by Air Space Powers, in order to carry out international cooperation more efficiently, china also attaches great importance to AOS study and research of key technology.It is researched in this thesis the Frame Synchronization and Link Establishment technology which are the key technology of AOS, the purpose of Frame Synchronization Technology is to determine the beginning and ending of frames, and only if achieve the correct Frame Synchronization, the received data can be follow-up treated. AOS Frame Synchronization process will be divided into four kinds of basis states in this paper, and study of the classic Frame Synchronization Program based on the detailed analysis of phenomenon of False Alarm and Failed Detection, the main element include:Frame Synchronization Locking Probability, Frame Synchronization Locking Time, False Locking Probability, The Last Unlocking Probability after False Locking, Frame Synchronization Holding Time. Finally, the recommended parameters are given after simulation using MATLAB. Then describes Basic Anti-fading Frame Synchronization Program and Comprehensive Anti-fading Frame Synchronization Program, through MATLAB simulation comparison of these three kinds of Frame Synchronization program, the results show that the higher BER is, the better of the Comprehensive Anti-fading Frame Synchronization Program is.In order to meet the needs of Physical Link Management between the backbone nodes in The Space Information Network which using AOS. The needs includes selecting the optimal physical channel before communication and updating the physical channel in the communication process,etc. A Link Establishment Protocol is proposed in this paper which using Channel Separation Technology, synchroniaztion Establishment Model and Cycle-Slot divided technology. The main elements researched include:AOS link establishment of the overall design, AOS link establishment of the detailed design and the AOS link establishment of the simulation design. Finally, based on VS2005 development platform the computer simulation on the Protocol is achieved in C# language, the function of this Protocol is verified through the running of simulation program.
