A Study On The Research And Development Of Classroom Video Recording System Of Teaching And Research Department In Weicheng District

Since China adopted the policy of reform and opening up and implemented the strategy of science and education for a prosperous China, great progress has been made in education in this country. However, compared globally with other countries which are advanced in education, the education gap still exists and there are still some problems to be solved. One of the crucial problems is the disproportionate distribution of educational resources. There is unequal distribution of educational resources between the rural and urban schools as well as between schools in the same area. How to solve this problem to share excellent resources in order to promote equal access to education has become a common concern for every educator. In order to promote professional development of teachers in weak schools, every year, the Teaching and Research Department in Weicheng District, Weifang City, organizer of teaching and research in Weicheng District, organizes tens of excellent demo classes for the teachers in these schools to observe and learn from. But concerning the number of teachers involved, this kind of sharing and learning has its serious limitations caused by inflexible class schedule, distance and the size of the classroom. A classroom video recording system may better help promote sharing educational resources. Therefore, this thesis intends to have a further discussion on the research and development of the classroom video recording system.This thesis gives a brief introduction to the background information of the research and development of the classroom video recording system, the theoretical foundation, research objectives and the present situation of the research and development of the video system abroad and in China. Then the author discusses the actual application of this research topic. The basic research and development steps, development approaches and technical routes of this system are explained; and the layered development, team development, iterative and incremental development of the BS software system is analyzed; the reason why the three tier model is chosen for this system development is also explained. Next the author introduces the implementation scheme and analyzes its feasibility; detailed procedures, problems and solutions during the process of the development are also included. The last part of the thesis presents the system test; the tests of function and performance are presented respectively.
