The Research On Li Dazhao' Journalism Thought

Li Dazhao (1889-1927) is a premier great propagandist of Marxism, the first founder of the Chinese Communist Party, Chinese founder of Marxist journalism, but also an outstanding journalist. In his just 38 lives years, Li Dazhao has engaged in activities related with the newspapers all through 15 years, and he is qua editor or participates in editing as many as 15 kinds of newspapers. Although he did not systematically and comprehensively discuss the theory of journalism, his journalism thought was scattered in many parts of corpus. Therefore, basing on Li Dazhao's corpus, in-depth study of his journalism thought is very necessary. This paper analyzes Li Dazhao's journalism thought from the origin, and detailedly studies historical process of his news practices. It still systematically summarizes Li Dazhao's journalism thought and briefly evaluates contribution of Li Dazhao's journalism thought.This paper is composed of four parts:The first part examines the origin of Li Dazhao's journalism thought. Li Dazhao forms and develops his journalism thought on given time background, basing on his long-term news practices and in the process of integration, drawing and critical thinking foreign news.The second part concretely describes Li Dazhao's news practices. The article describes process of it through three stages. The first stage, from 1913 to 1915, discusses Li Dazhao's news practices in the study period (at the Law and Politics in the Northern school, to study in Japan). The second stage, from 1916(Li Dazhao returned to China in this year.) to 1917, narrates the whole process about Li Dazhao from the Morning Bell to Public Comments on the Constitution and to Tiger. In the January 1918, Li Dazhao participated in the New Youth newsroom, and started the third phase of his brilliant news practices.The third part systematically summarizes and analyses analysis the specific content of Li Dazhao's journalism thought. Basing on the study of"The Complete Works of Li Dazhao", the author discusses in detail Li Dazhao's journalism thought from the four areas (news and journalism, the role of news, freedom of the press, and accomplishment of journalists).Part IV briefly evaluates the contribution of Li Dazhao's journalism thought. Li Dazhao is one of the founders of Marxist journalism in our country, a pioneer of Marxist ideology in China. He has made tremendous contribution to the emergence and development of China's proletariat journalism.
