| "Ta Kung Pao" is a distinguished model on "intellectuals and politics" in China newspaper history. Tremendous intellectuals, who sacrificed for national independence and liberation, have written their life histories on "Ta Kung Pao". Xu Ying, a famous journalist, is an outstanding one among them. For a long time, there have been many researches on famous journalists of "Ta Kung Pao". However, researches on Xu Ying’s personal news practice and contributions are still lack, which are not worthy of her influence and contributions. From Xu Ying’s news practice, this paper uses the carding analysis and text mode to introduce her career as a journalist and sums up her news writing features and summarizes her contributions to society.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is "Introduction", which mainly explains the research background, research purpose and significance, research methods and state-of-the-art. The second part is the study of Xu Ying’s life and news practice. Xu Ying’s growth and development are described and in a logical sequence of time, summarizes the Xu Ying’s main news works. The third part is analysis on surplus professional interview reports and interview features. This chapter deeply analyzes Xu’s reports on countryside, economics and military and summarizes different characteristics on different subjects. In addition, among Xu’s numerous works, the interviews are the reports which best show her personal news styles. Thus, this chapter also studies these contents. The fourth part is the study on the artistic features and contributions of Xu’s news works. Specifically, this chapter explains the artistic features contained in Xu’s news works from the point view of writing methods, and lists typical texts and analyzes sentence by sentence to achieve accurate and in-depth results. The last part is the conclusion of Xu’s news ideology. Additionally, this chapter also summarizes social influence of Xu’s news practice to set Xu Ying a proper social position and praise for her outstanding contributions to the community. |
