As China's 3G licenses issued, more and more smart phones were used in China. Recently China's permitting WIFI used in phone makes the Internet and the mobile getting closer, and smart phones's Internet-related applications are get more and more. People are not satisfied with the existing use of mobile phones, pursuit of high-end smart machines, and demand more and more high and smart implications: video, audio, games. The smart phone based on these applications need a wireless network and its high bandwidth, the downloaded software is almost a key link to these Internet-based smart phone application software.P2P is short name for Internet technologies peer to peer. Today's popular P2P downloaded software is based on BitTorrent, eDonkey, Kademlia or other protocol. P2P software based on BitTorrent and eDonkey's protocol requires server support, but Kademlia protocol use its own algorithm instead need of a server.Symbian OS is the company Symbian's operating system designed for mobile phones, it is exclusively in the implementation of the ARM processor and is a resource limited operating system. Symbian OS provides the framework and on the S60 platform in its software architecture determines the difficulty and high cost of its development, the two stages in its structure and activities of objects is an important concept in Symbian OS.This paper examined the P2P of BitTorrent, Kademlia protocol and an optimization algorithm based on Kademlia protocol Kad_BOA, carefully examine the Symbian OS software development methods for wireless networks and smart phones based on Symbian OS to implement based on the BitTorrent, Kademlia P2P protocol client software MySymBT, and MySymBT application protocol based on Kademlia algorithm Kad_BOA. Kad_BOA agreement to speed up the network resources of the search speed, MySymBT software design using hierarchical and MVC design patterns, and use the unique combination of Symbian OS active object in the mechanisms and design patterns in a single case of model and observer mode, so that software design out better versatility and scalability.
