As a new technology result of advertising equipment and technological development, printing equipment rapidly spread around the world after appeared. The invention of large margin digital color printer produced a new force into the field of advertising and making outdoor advertising more and more are accepted and valued by people, which promoted the development of outdoor advertising media greatly. On the other hand, along with the rapid development of electronic technology and software technology, embedded systems development technology applied in various fields of production and consumption widely. All of these are driving the printing equipment to a significant change in terms of both speed and accuracy.Inkjet printing equipment is the large equipment that print specific painting in specially designed materials used printing technology. Digital piezoelectricity technology is the most used frequently in number of printing technology. This technology is particularly important for the control of the printhead, related to the printing device speed and accuracy directly.This paper presents a relative independence control system of printing equipment from data transmission. The design not improves the speed and efficiency, and increase the flexibility of equipment. Control system adopt South Korea Samsung S3C2440A 16/32-bit RISC microprocessors as the main control processor of the printing equipment, using NEC's new 78K0503D as the control chip of printhead. The system control communicate task of high-precision printhead through the realization IIC communication. This article describes the working principle of the printhead, ARM processors, design of the control system structure and system components. And the paper describes the hardware part and the associated circuit. On the software side, completed the structural design of the control signal, and use the software layer and the buffer queue to improve data transmission efficiency, realize the communication of main controller and the controller chip. The communication process and the key code have been provided. Finally, the final results and analysis are gaven through the verification platform.
