Design And Implementation Of Rich-Client Approval System Based On EXT

Approval is an important function and a window for the public of government. With the further development of e-government, the construction of information-based approval system also got more attention. The traditional manual mode of approval has some shortcomings such as office dispersed, complicated procedures, inefficiency, silos of information between various departments and other defects. The construction of E-government for approval system in our country is still in its infancy, most of them were lack of flexibility and interactivity, maintainability, scalability; the performance and security need to improve. A planning approval system wad designed for the actual demand of Planning Bureau and to conquer the shortcomings existing systems. It was applied in the Planning Bureau for approving and it meets customer needs.The approval system is a rich client B/S system. It's based on.NET platform, combined with AJAX and EXT. Main functions include design of approval process, creation and acceptance of approval project, transfer of approval business, inquiries of business approval and personal office. According to the practical application of planning permission, to achieve user-friendly, responsive, easy to operate, safe and practical requirements, discussed the system's main features and requirements, detailed the design of system, and introduced the implementation of the system. For the shortcomings of poor interaction in similar systems, Ext was used to achieve a rich user experience in the development of this system; by using the process designer to define the approval process and its properties can be more flexible to control and modify the process than the existing systems; using role-based access control, make the mechanism of access control more flexible in the system.System architecture was designed by the MVC pattern, database management system is SQL Server 2000, server-side is built on the ASP.NET and the code language is C#, database access technology is ADO.NET, Ext used for front-side framework. System meet the design requirements, each functional module works well. It has been applied in Planning Bureau, and improved the work efficiency.
