Recently, long-distance transport development brings a lot of convenience to people's travel. But, traffic accidents increase year by year for the reason of over-loading, over-speeding and driver fatigue driving, which made great losses of people life and property. So, there is great realistic significance to use vehicle monitoring and scheduling system in long-distance transport.As the development of global positioning technology, geographic information technology, wireless communications technology and the social economy, vehicle monitoring and scheduling system has been widely used in intelligent transportation, logistics distribution and monitoring and dispatching of special vehicle, and it brings a lot of economic and social benefit.Based on actual scientific research project and extensively reviewed a large number of relevant information, long-distance bus monitoring and scheduling solution has been put forward. After further research on current situation of vehicle monitoring and scheduling system, critical technology and working principle of system, the total design has been given based on the demand of the user.This paper mainly studies the design and implementation of monitor-center sub-system. The monitor-center sub-system is divided into server and monitoring termination. The system relaying on GPRS wireless networks and Internet, adopts connection-oriented TCP/IP as the data transmission protocol of system to ensure the reliability of connection and data transmission. Adopting multi-thread technology and dynamic link library technology design the communication module of center-server. This method not only satisfy the center-server receiving a large number of connection requirements and data communication of vehicle terminations, but also reducing memory occupancy rate, improving stability of the system in the situation of long time running. Using real time database and relational database design center-database, could satisfy the stability and reliability requirements of large amounts of data storage, and accelerate the speed of data writing and reading, enhance system performance. This paper designs monitor termination viewing platform by integrating MapX component in VC++6.0, realizing the logging on safely, vehicle real-time monitoring, long-distance control, alarm processing and information management.Finally, the paper carries the laboratory simulation experiments and actual experiments on vehicles, and the experiments show the system practical, stable and reliable.
