Cars have become necessary goods among more and more people with the growing development of information society and increasing of people's income. It provides the convenience and fast service. Car navigation is also born of the occasion. It provides more convenient choice guidance for the people who travel by car to choose the road. But autonomous navigation map update was slow. More and more people can't stand that it can't provide real-time information quickly, etc. Center navigation is the best option undoubtedly based on the above-mentioned shortcomings of autonomous navigation. Center Navigation is based on the implement GPS navigation and supplemented based on IPv6 network connections. It achieved through the wireless network to access additional information on navigation. Centre car navigation provides a full range of real-time services for people by overcoming the shortcomings of car navigation. The project name is the credibility of IPv6-based network services platform construction vehicles. The project is mainly provide IPv6-based, credible, and wireless network environment and services information for the automotive. The important parts of the project are Which IPv6 packets across the wireless network (CDMA and WLAN wireless network) and central navigation. It is achieved in car environment based on CIPE's online electronic map service system and implementation.IPv6 is a product of Internet development. People need a large number of IP addresses with the emergence of new services and the increase of the number of users. The IPv4 address is closed to exhaustion. But IPv6 addresses have a large number of address spaces. It can meet the requirements of all. Therefore, the development of IPv6 has been developed rapid. It is an important area that IPv6 technology combined with the vehicle network for the development. Automotive network use a large number of wireless network (Mainly CDMA and WLAN wireless network) as the auto mobile. But the wireless network does not support IPv6 protocol, it restricted in IPv6 development in the automotive network. It realized the implement IPv6 packet through the wireless network and the network equipment up and update based on the study on the basis of CIPE source code.The electronic map and road network in center navigation are updated in real time. The information of electronic map and road network is stored on the server side. The two core technologies of center navigation are online electronic map updates and online network update. The efficiency of updating influences the navigation service quality. I have done a lot of experiments and designed a more efficient way for online electronic map update. The propose method is divided entire electronic map into several blocks in 300m* 300m. Then extract the data in the block. It is conversed into binary data as the custom protocol and stored in the database. Then the server extracts block data directly from the database and transfers to the client based on the needs of the client. This can improve the transmission efficiency of the map largely. However, the update is to make line primitives split into point primitives and line primitives in the line network. Then road network information was stored in the database by the above method. And then it was transferred to the client protocol. The transmission efficiency can be achieved project requirements through testing in the project.
