With advances in technology.information technology has already permeated all walks of life in social production.Of course.medical institutions are no exception.Chinese information industry started relatively late.the development of Hospital Information System (HIS) can be traced back to the late seventies of last century.In recent years, the building of Chinese HIS develops vigorously,except for the northwest region of China at present.most municipal hospitals have developed HIS that is more than suitable for their needs. Pharmacy management system as an important part of HIS,which is responsible for managing the flow of drugs throughout the hospital.Hospital pharmacy is an important hub,which is the heart of the hospital,responsibling for drug distribution coming from out-patient and treatment of patients areas,so we can improve the efficiency of pharmacy,simplify the work processes of pharmacy.achieve information management,in order to serve patients better.Hengshui Industrial School belongs to state-owned colleges,having its own small hospital.In recent years,with the increasing efficiency of school,and increasing enrollment.the original system that school hospital pharmacy has not able to meet current demand.The construction of the hospital pharmacy information is not high,using of more traditional manual operation, efficiency was low.and easily go wrong.If buying a large-scale HIS software in the market.but lead to waste of resources easily.and thus to design a management system for such a small school hospital pharmacy is necessary.From doing the research to the hospital pharmacy business processes of Hengshui Industrial School.and considering the developments and changes in the future.This article selects the client/server (C/S) network architecture which is more mature recently,using UML-based object-oriented design process.On the basis of detailed and careful analysis demand to the school pharmacy services.to build the system model of school pharmacy.School pharmacy management system is divided into three subsystems:storeroom management subsystem;outpatient pharmacy subsystem and treatment area subsystem.This article lists the overall function block diagram of system, decomposing the function of the three subsystems in detail,using UML modeling language to analyze the system,listing the use case diagram.object diagram and activity diagram of the main business of school pharmacy;constructing a static structure model; describing the dynamic behavior of the main business;giving the design of system database.including needs analysis.conceptual structural design.logic design and physical design.Implementation of this system uses Delphi 7 as the programming language,using distributed database management system SQL Server 2000 as the database design platform.Through coding and system testing.the functions of each module in the pharmacy management system have been achieved.Currently,it has been used in the school hospital,as it is used to prove that this system works well.the interface is simple, the operation is easy,and it is easy to master,it is fully able to meet the daily needs and applications of hospital pharmacy of Hengshui Industrial School.
