In recent years, with the increasing of our vehicles, highways bring people many convenient, but they also led to many new problems, such as speeding, overloading and vehicle crime and other illegal behavior phenomena, and so casualties occur continually. And once traffic accidents occurred on the highway, most of them are important and serious. Intelligent vehicle monitoring system can make some deterrent effect for those problems. The realization of the monitoring system can reduce the behavior of violate the law and promote traffic safety.This research is the data processing part of research and development of intelligent vehicle monitoring data processing system case-based reasoning which was supported by Hebei science and technology program.The paper mainly processes the vehicle location information. It combines GPS (Global Positioning System) navigation technology, GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) wireless communication network, GIS (Geographic Information System) digital maps and computer technology to complete the whole process. It is from data acquisition to data storage, data management and data Real-time display on the GIS. The specific work as follows: vehicle terminal sends vehicle location data to the server through GPRS network. Receiver can make data conversion, data partition and other operations by the data communication protocol. Database is established. Data storage structure and organization are designed to complete real-time processing and data tiered storage. Finally, GIS map is designed. And the vehicle location data in the database reflected on the GIS map, which achieves real-time monitoring of vehicles. According to the necessary, the vehicle running track in the specified time can be playback at any time.Intelligent Vehicle Monitoring data processing system can analyses the collected traffic data effectively and deeply. The system realizes real-time data processing. The system can provide the necessary data to the intelligent vehicle monitoring system. The realization of real-time monitoring can provide information which distance is smallest from the port of patrol vehicle to accidents. The system can provide the basis for the scheduling and improve the management level. Therefore the system has higher application value.
