With the rapid development of information technology industry, information source is heterogeous which exists in every vocation information management system which causing a lot of single information-island. Grid Service technology is characterized as geographic distribution, logically heterogeneous,resources dynamically, grid-node autonomy on the main characteristics and information resources for service, which can achieve a greater range of information resource sharing than others.In order to effectively integrate and share these heterogeneous information resources, on the basis of XML and grid services technology, this passage proposes an information resource integration model based on grid service. The model can achieve the purpose of integration of information resources in the form of grid services. The model mainly includes information resource integration module and information resource acccess module.The information resource integration module is mainly responsible for packaging the heterogeneous data sources as a grid service which are registered to the Registration Center and provided services to the outside in the model.While the information resource access module is mainly responsible for getting grid services from the Registration Center for user's query and then accesses the information resource. At the same time, the model Introducts Qos grid services evaluation which selects a more appropriate grid service according to each Qos properties and Qos attributes of each user preference.The model can be used to access the heterogeneous information resources. The passage designs and implements a heterogeneous database integration system based on this model and tests the system in the LAN environment, finally the results are given. The system proves the correctness and feasibility of the model and achieves integration and sharing of heterogeneous information resources.
