As fast development of information technology, the construction of digital campus is increasingly valued by various universities. In the process of building digital campus, unified user management is crucial, and it requires a secure, reliable platform to ensure the legitimacy and effectiveness of the digital campus user information. LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) can be cross-platform, build complex distributed directory structure, organize and manage user information effectively, and provide safe and efficient directory access. In this paper, LDAP protocol has been studied. In order to make LDAP be applied to the digital campus system, this paper mainly researches and explores in the following three aspects.1.To address the issue of connection delay in the process of LDAP accessing directory server to establish a connection, LDAP directory access connection pool are realized by use of object-oriented technology, which avoids waste of time and resources caused by connections.2. To address the issue that LDAP is lack of transaction support, transaction process of directory server are designed and realized by use of object-oriented technology. The transaction process can import data into directory server. If an exception occurs in the transaction processing, the entire transaction is rolled back. Nowadays what data import interface it supports is XML file and SQL Server 2005 database.3.There are two ways for managing and maintaining directory server. The one is through command line, the other one is entering into directory server control center through management console. However, these two ways are all inconvenient. So graphic management tools are designed and developed, which helps to manage directory server data conveniently. On the basis of above research, unified user management system are designed and realized based on LDAP, which has been integrated into digital campus system and provides convenience to user information management and maintenance. The system achieves good operating results and reaches requirements of digital campus system in the security, performance and stability. |
