China's sports are forwarding in the direction of international sports and many international competitions held around the country because of that the success of the Beijing Olympics and Guangzhou Asian Games. Therefore the integrated control systems of the modern stadiums are for attention by the majority of manufacturers. Intelligent Flag Systems as an integrated control system control flag-raising ceremony work. Because of awards ceremony is the culmination of a major event so that the Intelligent Flag Systems is particularly important.This paper base on the author's participation in Beijing Hua Yi company's actual development projects, the author is responsible for designing the intelligent embedded controller's hardware and software and PC software. In the analysis of product features and market demand, the author proposed the overall design of intelligent control system for lifting. The system is divided into local control system, remote control systems and electrical and machinery systems. In the analysis of local and remote lift control system functional requirements of the flag, the author introduce the detail of design program.This paper firstly introduces the background and significance of the subject, as well as the source of subject. The author analyzes the research of domestic and foreign similar products and summarizes advantages and disadvantages of the product. Finally, the author introduce develop history of the MODBUS communication protocol and related products for MODBUS.Then the author proposed the hardware and software design solutions of Intelligent Flag Systems based on MODBUS Field bus according to functional requirements and performance needs of Intelligent Flag Systems.Then the author designs and debugs the hardware of the controller of local embedded control systems and converter that transform RS232 into RS485.The hardware involve the MCU minimum system module, power module, communication module, Switching device and converter module.Then the author designs the software of local flag control system and PC The software involved the Interactive touch-screen interface design and MCU software design and debug. Finally, the author design the PC software based on principle of friendly interface and operate.At last of the paper, the author summarizes and looks ahead the overall work, proposes some design improvements. The appendix involves the Hardware circuit diagram of local embedded control systems and part of software source code of control systems.
