The thesis studies on the design and implementation of IP voice dispatching system. It is one kind of dispatching system with our own intellectual property rights for the requirement of the practical application of the power industry. The system takes H20-20 program-controlled switchboard IXP2000 as the core switching platform and is comprised of H20-20 PBX-Model IXP2000, IP Dispatcher Unit (IPDU), IP dispatcher and ordinary telephones, etc. The elements of the entire system operate distributed on IP network, IP dispatchers of one group can be flexibly configured on different switches, and therefore, the voice communications between the partners inside or outside the system are realized.The article introduces the background and requirement of the IP voice dispatching system, describes each component accordingly and illustrates general design scheme of the system's hardware and software. Specially, the related technologies, design and implementation methods of the three typical modules of the system are discussed, included the design ideas and parts of program workflow diagram.In addition, the thesis summarizes the characteristics of IP voice dispatching system. The reliable operation, flexible configuration and abundant features of the system ensure that the system can construct multiple networking solutions and can apply to different fields and raise competition ability of our company.
