As Professional Large Format Scanners have broad market prospects and high research value, study on high-performance, high-quality scanning devices has become a focus in digital imaging field.In this paper, combined with experience in research and implementation of traditional multi-CCD architecture, an image acquisition control module is designed with single-layer multi-CCD architecture under embedded Linux. First of all, a high-performance scanner controller is used, which lay a solid foundation to improve scanning speed by its superior performance. Secondly, A new idea is introduced that using parallel model control CCD controllers separately and transfer the image data from the bottom to the upper in parallel. Parallel control and parallel transmission leads to significant improvement in scanning speed, solving the problem of deficiencies in scanning speed effectively of large-format multi-CCD scanning devices.In this paper, the solution of the multi-CCD image acquisition control module is presented, as well the detailed implemention. With the parallel model, the new data structure and the communication channels, the stability and reliability of the scanning device are ensured.
