The ZigBee Wireless Environmental Monitoring Network System Based On XC167CI

Along with the improvement of living standards, people are increasingly concerned about environmental issues.The paper researches and designs the environmental monitoring system based on the wireless sensor networks.The main work of this paper is to design a embedded hardware and software platform based on the Infineon's microcontroller XC167CI32F and the hardware circuit of wireless network, and to build a network based on ZigBee wireless environmental monitoring system. The paper researches the ZigBee technology under the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol, analyzes the ZigBee protocol stack structure, masters the 8051 core features and working principle of CC2430 which is a wireless chip based on ZigBee technology, and also designs the wireless network nodes module. After the systemic analysis of the XC167CI32F's microprocessor architecture and the internal resources, the paper designs the system board based on the microprocessor, then designing the master module based on the system board and the ZigBee wireless network's coordinator node.According to the division of the entire system, the paper designs and implements the functions of each module. The wireless network module is to establish wireless networks, as well as collect environmental datas. For the system's main control module, the embedded operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱhas been transplanted in order to realize the adequate and reasonable use of the CPU resources. Then the paper designs the application to manage and transmit the collected environmental datas. The PC applications mainly completes the data processing and designs the display interface. After successfully debugging the different modules respectively, the paper implements the functional debugging of the whole system, The system hardware and software work properly, thus realizing the target of environmental monitoring.
