Research And Realization Of Baseband Module For DMR Repeater Station

In recent years, with the continuous developing of telecommunication technology and people's growing of awareness of digital trunking communication system, digital trunking system has been rapid developed. Digital trunking communication system has broad applications, such as in enterprises, mining, oil fields, farms, military and other departments of public security. DMR Protocol which the Europe Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI) is developing on, has broad prospects of development as a new digital trunking communication protocol.This paper reviews the development of digital trunking communication system, and briefly introduces DMR protocol, especially the repeat part of DMR protocol. And according to the DMR protocol, this paper designs and realizes baseband hardware module of repeater station. Design and debugging process are introduced in detail, include the scheme of connection between chips and external interface of baseband module, and method and results of baseband module debugging. After debugging, the baseband module can achieve the repeater function required in DMR protocol.
