| Security monitoring system is an integrated system which refers to computer technology, communication technology and digital video technology. With the rapid development of the computer networks, the communication technology and the multimedia technology, the traditional monitoring system has been updating and developing towards a new development direction. Digitization, network surveillance and intellectualization are becoming the important research content of video monitoring system design.Embedded video surveillance system is a new digital video surveillance system based on embedded system technology, video technology. Compared to the old video surveillance system, it has many advantages, such as stability, real time performance, functions and price etc. It is also the directionof research and development in video surveillance system.This paper briefly introduces the system's realization scheme, then presents characteristic of the embedded system development. Based on this, the whole design is divided into hardware design and software design two parts.In hardware system design part, the ARM processors and S3C2440 MCU are introduced briefly, and the paper explains especially the design of S3C2440's interface with memory, including Nand Flash and SDRAM, JTAG and OV9650 camera.In software design part, the whole design is mainly included the presentation of embedded Linux system and the exploitation of applied program, the first part firstly discusses how to building embedded Linux, mainly including the scheme of boot loader, the compiling and porting Linux kernel. Then, this paper made a particular analysis of video collecting tech based on Linux system, introduced the driver development and debugging process of OV9650. At last, the main flow and key code of video acquisition were presented.Finally, the thesis has given a summarization to the fundamental research and practice application, and has put forward the further research work to the video monitoring system. |
