Profit is the core pursuit to the business. Logistics is known as "the third profit source" of a company. In order to reduce the cost of logistics management and create value, the enterprises usually implement standardized management and use information technology in warehouse management system.To satisfy the demand of the enterprises in industrial for accurate warehouse management, the wireless warehouse management system was designed based on weighting technology. The whole program was divided into two parts, control terminal and wireless electronic scale. Control terminal which is portable can facilitate the administrator to check the status of the products real-timely while the wireless electronic scale is responsible for accurate weighting the goods and returning the state. Control terminal can read the status and set the parameters of the electronic scale wirelessly.This thesis consists of six sections:In chapter 1, the importance of storage management to the enterprise was reviewed from international and domestic perspective, and the involved technology was listed. Each involved technology was described and analyzed from the view of development of industry and current technical form. Some specific applications of storage management were also listed.In chapter 2, according to the requirement of project, we designed wireless warehouse management system which was based on the weighing technology. Besides, the design requirements and the specific work process were described.In chapter 3, the specific design scheme of the control terminal was described from both hardware and software points of view. First of all, we analyzed the characteristics of the system hardware and the functional modules in hardware. Then, we introduced the development process of the embedded system software and realization of specific functions on the U-Boot, the kernel porting, the development of GUI software and other aspects.Chapter 4 made a distinction between the independent electronic scales and integrated electronic scales on features and the scope of application. The hardware was designed in the aspects of the smallest systems, power management, signal processing and so on, and the software process of the two electronic scales was designed differently according to their characteristics.Chapter 5 introduced several performance tests for electronic scales. The electronic scale needs going through a series of tests before it is applied to practical production. The result that we acquired from the tests can meet the requirements in every aspect, such as the linearity, temperature drift, long-term stability and other aspects of electronic scales.The chapter 6 contained the conclusions and prospects. The major research conclusions and results were summarized in this chapter, and we proposed the future planning steps and research directions.
