The film industry in China has been developing at high speed, as well as the market with the highest developing speed in the world. The common use of the Internet and the development of E-commerce promote the informationization in cinema. Under this background, if we put information management system into use in activity, that will be cost-saving, effective and competitive. In the paper, the author firstly analyzes the necessity of the system and points to the research significance according to the current situation of cinema management in China and the real local situation. Secondly, the author introduces the main skills and principle and then explains the details on the general system design, its module separation, functions and the database design. After that, the author describes the realization of each part of the system gradually, and elaborates the keys to the realization of data storage layer and the business process layer. At last, the author designs and develops a functionally good ASP-based information technology service management system for the cinema. The system is interactive, easy and open because it employs ASP dynamic service website language development and design based on modules. The system uses a three-tier architecture design, that is the separation of user interface layer, business process layer and the data storage layer, which makes the system powerful, superior, simple and secure and has good scalability, portability and maintainability, to centrally manage all types of information, to achieve the functions: the film information release and display, online communication for users, ticketing online, online information summarizing and management. So it is really very economic and promising in application.
