With the development of digital technology, digital cinema has carried out from analog to digital with the change and transition from the prophase shooting, post-production, distribution. It is an inevitable trend in the development of the film industry that the digital cinema replaces the film. At present, digital cinema advocacy organizations DCI has published the "Digital Cinema System Specification V1.0" and "Digital Film System Specification V1.1", and has a comprehensive exposition of the system for the digital cinema systems and the necessary elements of the technical requirements. The project of Digital Cinema Package production system based on the DCI was started under this kind of background, and its aim is to implement the production system of Digital Cinema Distribution Master in accord with DCI technical specifications. In the project I am responsible for the part of the production in digital film package system.In order to finish the fabrication of the digital film packaged system, the paper discusses the overall objectives and requirements of digital film system specifications, and research the whole system architecture and packaging systems related technologies. On the basis of in-depth research to the MXF file, the paper implemented packaging of video and audio track documents. The packaged structure is in full compliance with DCI technical specifications considering the coding mode, operation mode and indexing mechanism and so on. On this basis, the paper implemented structure organization of track file, which referred to the play of XML format and the production of packing list, and produced a corresponding editor interface, so that post-production can easily edit the video and audio track files. With the testing on the Dolby, GDC and Quvis playing servers, the results showed that DCP distribution packages produced by digital cinema production system can be decoded correctly and play smoothly, and then we can get the right color film images. The production system has a good quality.Meanwhile, according to the project needs, in the preparatory work of the digital cinema systems against dpx picture characteristics, for improving the operational speed of procedures and shortening the image coding time, the paper used two-step look-up table method to optimize color space conversion algorithm. It is conducive to large batch of images files.Finally, the paper sums up all the work, and put forward the next phase of improvements and research.
