Train control system is used to ensure the safety of train operation and improve the efficiency of railway transport infrastructure. As the key equipment of the train control system, on-board equipment requires high security. The technic of CTCS-3 level train control system has been gradually developed. CTCS-3 level train control system has been put into operation in China. As a high-speed train control system, it is applied to the on-board equipment has higher security and reliability requirements. The research of CTCS-3 level equipment testing technology has just started, and it is lack of a systematic test method. So it is needed to do more research for on-board equipment automated functional testing.Test Case is the prerequisite of functional testing. This thesis researches on the method of test case generation for functional testing of On-board equipment by modeling test progress with U2TP based on Model Driven Architecture.Firstly, a method which describes functional requirements of On-board equipment by establishing UML models with scenario dividing is proposed based on On-board related technical documents released by Ministry of Railways. Detailed description models of functional requirements are established by refining functional requirements with use case diagrams, activity diagrams and state diagrams.Also, test logic is proposed in test case. A generation method for test logic is introduced based on activity diagrams of requirement model. Test logic partitions are collected from activity diagram partitions which are generated by dividing activity diagram according to functions of system under test. Then regulations of combination and optimization for test logic partitions are established according to the architecture of activity diagram in order to generate final test logics.Finally, necessary information that has to be described by test cases of On-board equipment is summarized. The information is divided into four parts, test context, test logic, test data and test result analysis. Composition of test environment for On-board equipment is discussed based on U2TP and also the specific behavior and description method of test logic. Specific contents and architecture of test data are discussed either. At last, test case models are generated and described by combining test platform model, test logic model and test data architecture model together.
