Application Research On Neural Network And Expert System In ICAI Evaluation System

In recent years,our country attention to the reform of teaching more and more.Ministry of Education has issued the policy such as Eleventh Five-Year Plan of National Educational Development. With the deepening of the reform of teaching, Improve the ICAI system development has become an important component of modernization of teaching.It is necessary how to make the sdudent to play the initieative in the teaching.then how to corrrect evaluation of the cognitive abilites of students is the key in playing to the initiative.At present, Most of the ICAI system the students Module of evaluation cognitive ability use the evaluation mathod that add all the scores in the examination paper. This evaluation approach ignores the individual differences of students.The results can not be reflect correctly cognitive abilities of students. So,it is short of guidance.As a important part of ICAI,Evaluation model evaluating ability correctly and proposing reasonable suggestions and guidances. It is to ensure that the prerequisite and basis for individualized teaching.In this paper,the author had Designed the main modules of the ICAI system based on the division of knowledge that prosed by Bloom who is American Psychologist,and had established an expert system to evaluate of cognitive ability of students used PB neural network. Focus of the work is have been finished simulation for evaluate of cognitive ability of the ICAI system. Gave the guidance by evaluation for learning to next point.It laied a theoretical foundation for improving the ICAI system in future.This paper carried out such as aspects of following:1 We investigated the development of ICAI system status at home and abroad, it's structure and the theoretical knowledge of ICAI.2 We investigated the neural network, Focus of the work is investigated structure,design and algorithm of BP neural network.3 We investigated expert system too.and the main work is the production of expert system.4 Focus of this paper is that had finished detailed design and implementation of evaluation of cognitive module. Innovation of this paper is that had proposed evaluating student's cognitive ability and guiding to learn for next point using BP neural networks and expert systems.At last,we proposed the lack of this ICAI system and the evaluation expert system.and look ahead the further improve research of the ICAI system.
