The visually impaired visually impaired, vision can not be received, and visual design of air conditioning receiver is an important communication channel, which led to the visually impaired in the operation and use of air conditioning on the difficulties.Accessibility increasing attention in recent years, various auxiliary tools and products have been developed, the market seems at this stage, the object of barrier-free design is more against the physical disabilities, and supporting tools for the visually impaired groups and life product point of view, that a relatively small, more facilities and equipment in public areas of the development environment. This design concept in accessible to the visually impaired as the object of the present air conditioner remote control interface design are discussed. At first, a brief introduction to accessible design system, including the definition of barrier free design, background and scope, and development of barrier-free design in the current situation and prospects at home and abroad. then introduced the air-conditioning remote control of the relevant circumstances:the economic development of the air conditioning industry to promote research and development; air conditioning, remote control market and the use of state of the environment; air conditioning remote control of the normal user.And then study for the visually impaired, to analyze their psychological and behavioral characteristics common to discuss their use and operation of air conditioning in the actual needs of the remote control, through research and analysis of problems point summary for this study to provide purpose and direction. In the end, for the visually impaired in the air conditioning remote control design problems, combined with interface design principles, reference to the application of Braille, summed up the air conditioning remote control with visual impairments the evaluation criteria. Finally, select the six major air conditioner remote control function keys, based on the recommendations in the evaluation of a program designed model. The results of this study but also for other visually impaired as a reference design of home appliances, and improve product design of the visually impaired.
