The arrival of the information age, has a great convenience for people to access to relevant multimedia information. A large number works based on digital media have enriched the people's life enormously. But they present a new challenge to copyright protection of multimedia products. The image digital watermarking technology has become the hotspot of current development, which catches a wide attention for its unique advantages in copyright protection. And its development has been making our close attention.This paper made intensive studies on relevant technologies of shamir theory and singular value decomposition (SVD), then proposed a digital watermarking algorithm in wavelet domain of digital images based on shamir and SVD. The new algorithm used main property of wavelet transform which were imperceptibility and stability, combined with character of the SVD, that was, it would not change significantly when suffered small interference. At the same time, the algorithm used the shamir theory and threshold scheme. Based on the style of decimal, the divided-storage of watermarking information could be embedded into the singular value which could be got after wavelet transform. And ultimately the algorithm achieved the effect that could return to the full watermarking with the part.This paper proposed overall design of the algorithm and the accomplishment in detail, and improved the traditional algorithm which was only based on wavelet transform and singular value decomposition, and the other problems about the singular value with non-blind detection and existing security threat in the watermarking. The wavelet transform, the singular values decomposition and shamir theory could be advantages of combining to achieve the compromise of digital watermarking's robustness, invisibility, and security, and the algorithm achieved blind detection.Paper gave the performance testing after achieving the algorithm. Simulation results demonstrated that the algorithm had good robustness, invisibility and security.
