Digital watermarking is an important technique for protection of copyright of digital works. It is a main application of information hiding technique. It embeds secret information into the digital multimedia, in order to protect copyright of works; prove its authenticity and append information of works, but it cannot reduce the value of works.Protection of copyright of digital audio works will be more and more important along with extensive application of the mp3 compression standard, and audio watermarking will be one of the hottest subjects. In this paper, we research digital audio watermarking in discrete wavelet transform domain mainly. At first, this paper presents basic principle of digital watermarking, actuality, and the typical algorithms of digital audio watermarking. And then, we discuss the watermarking algorithms in DWT domain, and present a self-adaptive robust watermarking and a fragile watermarking. Lastly, we design a dual watermarking of combining both of them, which embed two watermarks in different positions in DWT domain. The watermarks are binary images which are more intuitionistic than random sequences, and we apply public cryptogram algorithm and chaos system to the watermarking. The experimental results show that the algorithms are blind, and they have beautiful robustness, sensitivity and inaudibility.
