Producer performance testing of power is of vital importance in the production process. In the traditional process, we usually use dummy loads instead of actual loads, and most of the dummy loads are static loads, such as resistance, resistance box and slide-wire rheostat. In fact, loads change with time and frequency. So it's various in forms and dynamic. To sum up, static loads couldn't imitate closely actual loads. It is very important to research new dynamic electronic loads instead of actual loads.High-power electronic loads could imitate closely actual loads and the energy released by tested power is fed back to alternating-current main to realize cyclic utilization. High-power electronic loads have many advantages, high efficiency, low profile type, light, low costs, environmental-friendly and easy adjustment.First, this paper introduces situation of study and advance of electronic load. Then substance and substance of this subject are given.Secondly, this paper introduces the operational principle of electronic load, and the circuit topological structure of the electronic load is analyzed. A detailed account of the PWM current rectifier is given subsequently. At a later time, control methods and strategies are covered.Thirdly, we discuss the selection of whole scheme as an important aspect and work out the plan of physical circuit. The design adopted involves controlled circuit and logic circuit, signal generating circuit, sampling circuit, communication circuit and power circuit.Lastly, the paper introduces working process of monitoring system. Requirement of control is set. Three operational modes are given, including steady-current mode,steady-voltage mode and steady-power mode. Then, a detailed account of the fuzzy logic control and the design of PID controller is given subsequently. We give a flow of work about the PID system algorithm program.The implementation results verify that the monitored control system of high-power electronic load is well designed.
