Embedded system is the product of computer technology on the certain developing stage. For its good characteristics of high integration, small volume, strong mobility and so on, it has already been widely applied to various professional domains. Especially when it is combined with Ethernet, its application becomes more widespread. Ethernet has been applied in commercial control systems. Along with the enhancement of Ethernet transmission speed, the industrialization of Ethernet's physical level standard and the appearance of full duplex optical fiber without collision, Ethernet is applied in industry control systems rapidly. Compared with the industry control network based on the field bus, the control network based on the industry Ethernet is more open and has higher performance in the solution for the industry control network.In this dissertation the author studies on the key technologies mainly in industry Ethernet application and then develops an embedded remote monitored control system as its application.By means of Ethernet technology applied in the embedded system, network intelligence points are established base on TCP/IP protocol and this system realizes the visitation and the control for the industry scene equipments through Ethernet. By combining embedded real-time operation system with embedded TCP/IP network protocol and transplanting them to 32 Bit ARM microprocessor that has the high performance and the low power loss, the system realizes the connection with Ethernet.Client/server model is used in the design of this monitored control system, and advantageous to the expansion for the system. The status data of the equipment is demonstrated by HTTP server. The process server based on UDP protocol deals with client'requests about the system control. The system realizes the separation of the service operation and the data processing, the application procedure is independent relatively, and so it is advantageous to the expansion for new services.The design of monitored control system consists of the transplant for embedded real-time operation system and TCP/IP protocol, the design of application program server and Ethernet card driver. After the system is configured successfully, it willbecome one of network points at local area network. And then any client by his computer at local area network can visit the status data of scene equipments by means of the web browser, which is collected with the system.According to the research results about the key technologies of the monitored control system, this system realizes the connection between scene equipments and Ethernet. It creates the condition for the integration of scene equipment level and management information system in the enterprise.
